Cannot open a TIFF file in Photoshop

I tried to open a TIFF file into Photoshop 2024 but could not. A warning popped up saying that an unexpected end-of-file occured. I was able to open other TIFF files and this same file opened up in GIMP.  I searched the internet but could find nothing about this concerning TIFF files, only if it happens to photoshop files. This is on a Windows 11 machine

Where is the problem file located (internal, external, network storage?) ALso, please post a system report (Help->System Info.)

Since the TIFF opened in GIMP, did you try resaving to a new TIFF and opening that new file?
