Content Credentials workflow broken

The Content Credentials (beta) panel is not showing in the Window menu. I can still search for it in the search bar, and it points to the Window menu though.

When I open the panel (via search), it displays the following error message:

The help page documentation says that the preferences/settings for content credentials can be found alongside History in Settings/Preferences. However, there is no longer a content credentials option there.

Was Content Credentials quietly killed off and there are just some breadcrumbs left or is this a bug?
