Even though it is checked and has to be seen on the PSD screen and even though I uninstall the photoshop and resinstall it, even though I use the beat too, contexual task bar seems to be some else that I can not reach now :) Is there a solution for that?

    Hi @Saygın Mehmet,

Thanks for reporting this. Based on the replies from @Kajrov and @StefanKlein as well, this does seem to indicate there may be an issue specifically with pinned Contextual Task Bar behavior, especially in multi-monitor workflows.

A couple of things to check first:

    • Update to Photoshop v27.6 if you haven’t already (test on main build, not on beta)
    • Try,  Window > Contextual Task Bar. Toggle it OFF and back ON

    • Also test, Reset Workspace. Window > Workspace > Reset (Workspace). Ensure to save your current custom workspace as a new workspace before resetting.

Since this is happening on a multi-monitor setup. Please confirm:

    • If you are using a single, dual, or multiple monitor setup?
    • Does the issue happen only when the taskbar is pinned?
    • Does it reappear if Photoshop is moved back to the primary/ default monitor?

    Also, if possible, please share:

    • Your PS System info by copying-pasting it here: Photoshop > Help > System info.
    • A short screen recording showing the Contextual Task Bar disappearing or jumping position after pinning and reappearing after right-clicking on the canvas or any other steps taken to make the context taskbar reappear.

That will help us better document the behavior and investigate.

On my system the CTB often disappears and, if you´re lucky you can get it back manually by right-clicking into the canvas.
And very often it just jumps to the upper left corner, although it´s pinned.

context task bar stil have issue when you pin it then you have multimonitor ps 27.6.0 Windows 11 pro.

After an analysis of the problem have I com to this conclusion: Then you pin context task bar you actually move the bar outside Photshop workarea like the you move a panel to an other screen.

Then you pin context task bar is that same as the you ad an Z layer in html but in this in this caee does  the bar not  anchored to the workspace Z layer but the anchored to the screen. Then you mowe photshops window will not the context task bar folow the Photoshop instead it stay floting on the pinned place on the screen.

In the orignal place for the. context task baris it floating and have a place looked to the center bottom of the canvas and linked to the canvas the bar move with the canvas, but if you pin or move the bar from the orignal place it will act as above, pinned bar.and lose the anchore to the canvas.

How to solve this is chang the original place to for example relative to the top left corner of the document window included rules, but you shall still have your own chois to pin the bar there you will have it.

@Saygın Mehmet looks like you’re using the Beta version of Photoshop, you’d be better off reporting the issue on the Photoshop Beta forum.

FYI, professional people don’t use Beta apps for a reason.
