Dutch Photoshop 2026: confusing label “Opdracht” for Command key modifier in Actions
In the Dutch version of Photoshop 2026 on macOS, there is a confusing translation in the Actions panel.
When you open “Handelingsopties” (Action Options) for an action and assign a Function Key shortcut, you can enable two modifiers: “Shift” and “Opdracht”. The label “Opdracht” is currently used for the Command key modifier.
In Dutch UI terminology, “opdracht” is normally read as “task/command (an instruction)” rather than as the name of a physical modifier key on the keyboard. Because of this, it is not obvious that “Opdracht” refers to the macOS Command (⌘) key. It also risks confusion with other uses of “opdracht” in the interface that refer to an action or command, not a key.
I would like to request that this label be changed to something that clearly identifies the keyboard key, for example:
-
“Command‑toets”
-
or “Command (⌘)”
This would make the meaning of the modifier consistent with how other modifier keys and the Command key itself are typically named in Dutch UI translations, and would reduce confusion for Dutch‑speaking users.

Thank you for considering fixing this localization issue.
