Eyedropper only remembers the colour i picked last, the other 11 are from a few days earlier

I usually use the eyedropper tool to mix and mash colours, especially during rendering of some artworks, but for the last 2-3 days the picking a colour with the eyedropper tool only changes the last colour shown on top of the swatches tab, the remaining ones not changing upon picking another colour. It seriously hampers my work since i have to pick colours from shaded parts of the screen, meaning i cant use the base colours i used for the shading in the first place. Any ideas if this is a bug or a problem on my end?

I use no third party plug-ins.

The issue is still ongoing, but is not present on my personal desktop computer which also runs the latest version of photoshop. Sadly i cannot take it to work 😄
