Gradient not showing when exporting

The blue gradient at the bottom of the creative is not showing when exporting. even when zoomed to 100% the gradient still shows fine until exporting.

Looks like if I convert the gradient to a smart object it exports ok, but I dont understand why it doesnt show when exporting otherwise
