Hello!

I am a consistant user of Adobe Photoshop, and just today I discovered the existance of the photo enhancement feature. However, my exitment did not last because the denoise tool, included in this feature, increased the color noise of the image severely instead of reducing the noise. When I turned off the denoise, the image returned to normal. Thinking that this may have only been a visual glitch, I clicked the enhance button to create the new enhanced dng image with the denoise on. Unfortunately, Photoshop failed to create the new image all together.

If anyone has any idea on how to fix this bug please let me know. Please see the images attached below to help you better understand the problem.

App Version: Photoshop 23.5.2 (just updated today)

Computer type: MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7

The computer I use has not been preforming very well for a while now. The model is the macOS Catalina, which was released in 2019.

My version of Camera Raw is 16.5.1 (this might be the latest version).

What version of Camera Raw is that?

Older Macs/PCs have trouble with some of Camera Raw's advanced features such as Enhance because the computers processor/GPU is not really up to the task or lack the necessary instruction sets.
