Question

I have uninstalled Creative Cloud CC and all the desktop apps because I could not open Photoshop. I reinstalled Creative Cloud CC, and Photoshop STILL will not open

I have had a Creative Cloud CC plan for years. This morning when I opened my app and clicked on Photoshop it began to open but then disappeared. I rebooted my computer. I tried every possible fix. I tried the Repair option. Nothing works. Now what do I do?

    Hi @Artisan Impressionz

Apologies for the delayed response. I’m hopeful that the issue has been resolved by now. If Photoshop is still not opening, please try installing the latest version, Photoshop 27.9.1, which was released two days ago, and let us know if that resolves the issue. If the issue persists even after updating, please try the following steps:

    1. Restart your computer after installing the latest version of Photoshop.

    2. Try launching Photoshop while resetting its preferences. Try manual method after creating a backup of the folders: https://adobe.ly/45cm6GE

    3. Make sure your operating system and graphics drivers are fully up to date.

    4. Temporarily disable any third-party plug-ins and try launching Photoshop again.

    5. Try launching your system in Safe mode and try launching Photoshop there.

If Photoshop still opens briefly and then closes, please let us know your operating system/version and whether you see any error message before the application closes. This will help us investigate further.
