To anyone reading this, I recommend Google Drive over OneDrive or Microsoft. Microsoft always limits download speeds, while Google doesn’t. Given that PSD files are typically large, Google Drive is the better option.

Regarding Adobe's cloud solutions, even when Creative Cloud Files worked well, it didn’t offer advantages over Google or Microsoft.

Based on my experience, I suggest using more mature products. Adobe excels in design tools (though there's BIG room for improvement), but its web services fall short.

A bit about me: I'm an architect developer inspired by UX practices. I design for fun and sometimes for work.

The emails are sent to me, this is true.

But I missed these emails, they slipped through.

But in general, banners are the solution in such situations! Imagine that it was notifying me about reduced space, so I went and bought more space, and throughout this whole process, it didn't give a single notification!

From that, you can understand the quality of a company. Let's not hide behind our fingers.

I paid a Dead service.

There were several emails sent to Enterprise/Team admins and individual users (depending on the account) starting last summer. I myself received 4 separate emails for both the business and my individual/personal account.

This is an example from August of last year: "Discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced Files"

Shouldn't we have been informed with banners wherever Creative Cloud files are used that it’s EOL and that we need to make sure to move the files out?

Because of this download problem, I realized that I would lose months of work. I was using a dead service and wasn't aware.

I Adobe serious now?? Are you kidding Adobe???

How can I trust Adobe's other similar services now?

P.S. Thanks, guys, for your quick support, and you saved my work!

Per the first link:

Note:

Adobe continues to offer and support cloud storage and syncing across Creative Cloud with Cloud Documents, Creative Cloud Libraries, Lightroom Cloud storage, and Frame.io cloud storage. None of these cloud storage solutions are impacted by this change. Files synced via Lightroom are not affected by this change; only synced Creative Cloud files are affected. View your Creative Cloud files here.

Thank you guys for your replies.

I read the articles you sent me, so, in the end, the sync feature will be terminated, Will the Cloud Files be deleted??? Can you confirm?

@Marinapl. check the second link I posted above about downloading your sync files.

PSDC and other "cloud documents" including lightroom and acrobat are still supported.

Its the specific individual file sync from desktop, etc. that is ending.

It's being removed in phases. I would expect it to get worse before it's completely removed.

Thanks for your answer @Kevin Stohlmeyer

Since it's EOL, why is it still on and buggy? You can't imagine how bad the UX is because of this. The only things that work in PS are the internal features, everything else is a nightmare! The cloud and sync are unreliable, making me wonder if professionals are really using these tools.

Anyway, I have 16GB of cloud files, and with this experience, I feel unsafe continuing to use it. I want to download them. How do I do this? Can someone provide the official way to do it?

@Marinapl. this feature is EOL. Not sure what that means for support or development beyond the begining of this year.

There was an option offered to download the entire sync as a zip but I think that ended in March.
