Live preview for Camera Raw Filter is missing

I use the shadow/highlights adjustment a lot, but the live preview is no longer functions correctly (since 27.11 update). It will not display the shadow & highlight adjustments until I click “OK” button to apply adjustments. I did just discover that if I press the control key after opening the adjustment window, that it corrects the preview. But that seems like a bug, since it didn’t require pressing control key before.

Hi @SavedbyJesus, Thanks for reaching out to the Photoshop Community Forums! Let's try a few things to see if we can fix the live preview for Camera Raw.

    1. Reset Preferences: Try resetting the Camera Raw preferences. This can resolve unexpected behavior caused by corrupted settings. To reset preferences:

      1. Close Camera Raw.

        • Hold down the Alt (Option key on Mac) while reopening Camera Raw, and select the option to reset preferences.

        • Try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences: https://adobe.ly/4ixz7AR

        • Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset: https://adobe.ly/3WriUFW

    2. Reinstall Camera Raw: If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Camera Raw. This can help to eliminate any corrupted files that may be causing the problem.

    3. Use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to reinstall:  https://adobe.ly/4yWoYUo

If none of these steps works for you, we can continue to troubleshoot. I hope this helps!^CH
