My Photoshop sudden close for several times

I’m in the middle of designing and retouching in Photoshop when, without any warning or the usual lagging/not responding issues, Photoshop suddenly closes and resets my settings.

I’ve already enabled Auto Save and Recovery, but every time I experience this issue, Photoshop resets everything on its own. And honestly, it sucks. This has happened several times already, and it’s exhausting and incredibly disappointing.

Adobe, you’ve been eating up so much of my memory, yet your software keeps doing this dirty. The customer service was rude, too, and didn’t even come close to providing the bare minimum of support.

We’re paying this much for software, only to deal with bugs, lagging, crashes, and running out of memory? Oh my God.

If it weren’t for my work, I would’ve left Adobe a long time ago.

Hi @sem1212

I'm really sorry you're going through this. I can only imagine how frustrating and disheartening it must be to lose your work and settings without warning, especially when you're right in the middle of your workflow. I also sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our customer service team. Let me help you troubleshoot this.

Here are a few steps that may help stabilize Photoshop and narrow down what's causing the issue:

If Photoshop continues to crash after trying these steps, please:

  1. Submit the Photoshop crash report and make sure you submit it using the same email address associated with the Adobe account you're using here. This will help us locate and investigate the crash report.

  2. In Photoshop, go to Help > System Info, copy the entire System Info report, and paste it in your reply here.

Once we have that information, we can investigate the issue further.
