P: 3D painting is missing uv overlay options

The uv overlay toggle no longer draws a uv over the texture and the Create Painting Overlay menu is completely grayed out. This worked before updating to version 22

Looks like this got marked as "Acknowledged". Hopefully it is fixed soon.

I see. But downgrading worked for me. But then I realized how bad this feature was, so went back to Substance Painter instead. So much better performance.

Thanks for providing details, I'd be happy to help with unable to create a UV mesh and cant create a painting overlay from a 3d model

i reverted to 2020 version and its working againb ut the 22.x version is not

so when im going to edit the pbr texture in 2d format from the 3d model using .obj its not finding UV mesh or showing them. When i try using "Create Painting Overlay" under the 3D tab its grayed out or unable to produce a mesh

thats the forum link, its been about a month it looks like since this started for a handful of us

the screen shots they provide is exactly my issue

Still waiting for a response about this. Super disappointed.

I would install previous versions of Photoshop, but I see a performance improvement in V22, and would love to see the 3D workflow working on it...
