What is this "new" feature with the content of "Hint: pixels"?

Is this documented in release notes?

How many operations that previously didn't use this "hint" feature now use this feature?

I could only test in 2022, 2021 and 2019. The action created in 2022 worked in 2021, so how far back is this compatible before the action breaks?

Any other pertinent info?

@CyberTubeHindi Just to confirm, you're creating an action in Photoshop 23.x and you're trying to playback the action in a prior version. Does it work in 22.x? or is it even older versions that don't play it back correctly? Typically, if you record an action that requires a new feature/variable, it won't work in prior versions.

We can take a look at your action if you post the ATN file (dropbox or CC files). Might be something simple that can be avoided.

Advice your customers to update their Photoshops to newer version (that's free).

Some of them may not follow news so stay unnecessarily in the past releases 😉

Bugs are not being fixed for older releases. btw why can't you use only new one while you have it?

Best to wait for an Adobe employee to verify and or ask for more info etc.

The issue was with the copy step for me, not the selection.
