P: "Adobe Community Help" keeps popping open (Windows)

Adobe Community Help keeps popping open when working within Adobe Photoshop CS5. I'm not sure if I'm doing some sort of shortcut that causes it to open, but sometimes (maybe once instance, during a 40hr week) Adobe Community Help will open in a Window while I am doing stuff in Adobe Photoshop CS5.

I'm not sure what causes it, but I'll close the Community Help window, and then continue working in Photoshop, and it will open again. Only way to keep it from opening back up again is to close and restart Photoshop. This has happened to me on my home PC as well, and in previous versions of Photoshop, if I remember correctly. I am using Windows 7 now, but I think I've had this happen on XP too.

Is it because there are updates available? Is it because I'm doing some sort of weird shortcut that I don't know about?

An example: I was transforming an object (using the mouse, clicking, using shift button while moving the cursor, using the space bar while panning, etc.) It just opened again. Guess it's time to restart Photoshop...

This looks like a crash, not the annoying help window. Next time this happens though, you should click "View Problem Details" as it provides information about what went wrong.

has anyone ever seen this error message accompanied with the help windows? I tried searching above but didnt find the text in anyones replies. I think out of all the times this has happened to me [maybe 50 times?] I believe this is the first time the error box popped up...maybe that will help diagnose?

Thnx

Haven't you guys realized by now, adobe doesn't care. They tried to fix it and they gave up. When can you expect a fix? The answer is simple, when someone comes up with a photoshop alternative like gimp.

This happened to me again a few days ago. I had created a preset group of Layer Styles, and was maintaining the list of default presets (basically deleting all but the few I will use). Sure enough, I got three browswer windows open.

Adobe, do you need an adept software troubleshooter on staff? Give me a call if so.

C'mon guys! I'm up to CS6 and still seeing this same issue. It's actually worse now, as Photoshop CS6 consistently crashes when this occurs (CS5 used to recover enough for me to save, at least).

"can someone from Adobe please at least mention that this is being worked on"

It's Adobe, once they have your money they don't care about supporting their products, only releasing new ones with the exact same issues.

WTF!!! For the love of God, can someone from Adobe please at least mention that this is being worked on!? I hate when Photoshop force closes...and I'm not even able to recover the file that I was working on. Luckily I save somewhat often...
