P: Align with layer in Gradient layer stop working

Create a gradient layer
Disable gradient layer check ”align with layer”
Crop the image with crop tool

Expected behaviour:

Image cropping doesn’t affect gradient position

Actual behaviour:

Image cropping affects gradient position, which is anchred to layer size.

@Sameer K Hey, this bug is still on 27.10 beta, and it’s causing me a bunch of problems. I’ve no idea why it’s so complicated for you to fix that, but it’s frustrating for me to spend my time to overcome this while I already reported you about it.

Hey, @Perfect_Nemus. I am sorry for the delay. The progress has been slow, but the right team is investigating this. I will update this thread when a fix is available in beta for you to test.

Thanks for the tag, @Perfect_Nemus. I saw your post at the end of my day yesterday. Sorry for the delay.

I see the behavior, but I also see that it is fixed in the latest Photoshop (beta) available via the Creative Cloud desktop apps > Beta apps. Could you also install the latest Photoshop Beta and check if the issue still exists.

Hi @Sameer K , gradient layer bug is still presenbt in v27.7 and 27.8 beta. Plis can u hurry up qith this? I’ve a bunch of work blocked by this issue,
