P: Alpha Channel Videos Freezing

I have several video files with alpha channels that I want to composite in Photoshop. When I drag and drop the videos into Photoshop 2024, the time slider works fine and the alpha channel is visible. However, when I open the videos in Photoshop 2026, the alpha channel is missing, and dragging the time slider causes Photoshop 2026 to become unresponsive.

I guess Adobe has failed to fix this bug because it has been a year. Do you give up and admit that your software is broken?

Photoshop can't run a video file that's produced in photoshop. Please refund my one year of subcription money back.

Any feedback about this problem? How long does it take to fix a codec problem? You keep releasing new versions with the same bug!

Any news about this bug? When is it going to be fixed?

Thank you. I will be waiting for a fix.

I moved your post from Discussions to Bugs where the Photoshop team will see it.

No, it's not working in 25.9.

It's not buggy just on my system. I share these psd templates and tens of users reported this bug to me, fixed by installing the versions older than 25.7.

It's not working anymore after the version 25.7 update

Does it work with the Photoshop 25.9 update?

Pic 1: I have rendered an animation as image sequence, each image has a transparent background.

Pic 2: I have opened it in photoshop as image sequence, that's a 24 fps video.

Pic 3: Rendered the video as a quicktime video with alpha channel, thus it will be a video with transparent background.

This video can be played in photoshop version 25.6.

It's not working anymore after the version 25.7 update. Video is not visible or photoshop is not responding if one of these videos are included. There is a glitch.
