P: Art History Brush on a path creates a solid line/stroke

On the latest versions when you stroke a path with the Art History Brush it will always use a standard brush and NOT the Art History Brush Selected

I know this because I made different Plugins with that Tool such as Real Paint FX and they still work

BUT for some reason when you do it manually, it doesn't

wow really does that work with "Blur"? So when you want to blur what it does then?

Anyway it's indeed a bug. Apparently the "remove tool" gets used instead.

In the meantime, until Adobe fixes the issue select the Blur Tool from the Stroke Path dialog to stroke with the Art History Brush.

If you want to be sure your stroking a path with your desired painting tool, first draw out your path, select your painting tool, then press Enter/Return.

Hi Sameer thanks a lot for the reply! Attached the info

I'm like 99% sure it's a bug, I recorded a video to show you, it's attached.

The absolutely mind boggling thing is that if I try other plugins or actionscript that use the same functionality they work fine.

As you can see when stroking the path with any other tool it works, it's only with Art History Brush the problem.
As I told you I'm very very expert in this, but I might be missing something. Please let me know your thoughts and try to test it yourself.
I really can't work without this tool so I hope it gets fixed

This problem doesn't appear on older versions.
