P: Aware Content Fill Crashes Photoshop (Windows 10)

Never ending process working on big raw images (With 1 layer plus the Mask) using Aware content Fill.

Working once or twice then process never stops (i'd say probably a bad way of managing RAM) on Windows 10

By the way Working on Rulers in Photoshop 2019 makes Photoshop crash too

My Computer is 48 Go Ram (I'm Stuck)

Hi I'm using the latest download and I am still getting a freeze when I use the heal tool with content aware. This is really killing me, please fix this. I'm on windows 10 and my system info is as follows:

Have a similar problem. The crash only happens when I click on the "Fill" dropdown after using Photoshop for a while or opening a few tabs. It doesn't crash when it's a fresh start from a single image.

This is from the latest 20.0.4 version. Only has webp plugin installed.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help > System Info... and copy/paste the text in a reply.

This did not fix the issue, I'm still getting it and I have the latest update in the Wacom Driver, Photoshop, and my graphics card. It's torture.

This should now be fixed in the Photoshop 20.0.4 release.
Feel free to update Photoshop and let us know if this is resolved for you.

To update Photoshop CC to 20.0.4, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Photoshop CC.

Please make sure to update the Wacom tablet driver if you use one. Some users experience freeze with the old driver.

How big is the image? e.g. dimension (e.g. 100000px x 3000px), resolution (e.g. 300ppi), image mode (e.g. RGB 16-bit) Also how big is the fill area? Does it still happen if you wait another brush stroke until processing & warning icons at the bottom of the Preview panel disappear?

If you disable Preferences > Performance... Use Graphics Processor - restart Photoshop - does Content Aware fill work correctly?
