Photoshop 26.9 (just updated), macOS Sequoia 15.5, Intel MacBook Pro.

1. Drag with text tool to create large text box

2. Type a few characters, so most of the text box is empty

3. Select Type->Convert to Dynamic Text

4. Try to click and move the bottom transform handles

Expected: able to click and drag to resize bounding box

Actual: cannot grab handle and text box is deselected

5. Change to Move Tool

6. Double-click text box to select and switch to Text Tool

7. Try to click and drag transform handles.

Expected: able to click and drag to resize bounding box

Actual: cannot grab handle, text box is deselected, tool reverts to Move Tool

@ExUSA

Thank you for the report. I am able to reproduce the issue. It happens with a few words in a big text box as you described. The team will work on the fix. In the meantime, a workaround is to grab handles at the lower-left corner or upper-left corner of the text box to resize the box. Please try it. Thanks again.

Hi @ExUSA ,

Can you take a screenshot of the bounding box that is not resizeable?

There is a known issue if the right or bottom edges of the bounding box have excess space between the bounding box and the type itself that the handles become difficult to grab without committing the text.

Sometimes grabbing a top or left handle will let you resize it and the bounding box on the right or bottom sides will resize as the text resizes. Can you confirm that is the case?

Thanks for the report!

Regards,

Pete
