P: Copy and paste adjustment layers crashes

Found a bug in the new photoshop v 21.0.1

Copying/pasting adjustment layer crashes the program. Specificaly, copying from RGB image to CMYK image. 

Before that, Photoshop 21.0.0 wouldn't let  paste an adjustmet layer to a different image, so I guess it has something to do with that bug fix. 

Photoshop 20 does not have that issue ( installed and checked)

Using windows 10

    It sounds like you may have a similar problem to the new doc from clipboard issue:

    I have been having this issue for a while now...I can't copy and paste to a new layer without the image being completly off or the wrong size.  I just updated, and it's still not working.  Also, photoshop keeps locking up to the point that I have to turn my computer off and on.  Not sure I replied to the right person, but just really hoping for some help. Roz

    This issue should be fixed in the 21.2 update that went out this AM. Let us know if you're still having trouble.

      OK, i was able to reproduce.
      When copy/pasting an adjustment layer from rgb to cmyk, i can provoke a crash. But when going from cmyk to rgb, there's an error in the panel state.
      I've gone ahead a filed an official bug report. Thanks for flagging it.
