P: Copy and paste shape from photoshop to Illustrator no longer works

In the 21.1 update, vector/shape behaviours have changed and are pretty much broken. I posted a few days ago about copying from shape to shape being broken and an Adobe employee confirmed that it's a bug.

Today I discovered that copying and pasting a vector/shape from Photoshop to Illustrator no longer works at all. I assume these two issues are related.

I'll be reverting back to PS 20 for now, this most recent thrown a big monkey wrench into my daily workflow. I would advise people NOT to update if you do lots with shapes in Photoshop.

    Current version of Photoshop handles this.

    Sorry, Jed.  I've gone ahead and logged a bug.  It does seems to be a little different depending on the version of AI and PS.

    I can reproduce the issue (Photoshop 21.1.0 on macOS 10.15.3). 
    It does not much affect me but I appreciate that it is an unexpected and undesired change.
