P: Corrupt doc; recoverable iPadOS/mobile?

As you can see, none of the layer thumbs is rendering, and the doc stops working entirely as soon as I toggle visibility on any of the layers. Closing and reopening fixes rendering...until I toggle a layer again. (Or, for that matter, anything else. Even just selecting a tool causes the entire canvas to go gray!) Other docs continue to work fine...for now. This has me spooked,
& wary of trusting the app!

Anyone know of a way to recover the document?

Thanks Liliane, if you can share a link to the file to download, I can download and have the team regress your issue. jtranber at adobe dot com.

Thank you, Jeffrey! Pardon the hyperbole, but that is one life-saving feature toggle!!

The work you guys have done with this app is phenomenal, and I’d be happy to help knock this bug out with whoever gets assigned to fix it, if anyone. In particular, if you need help reproducing it, I’d be happy to share the broken file.
Anyway, everything’s rendering fine with the legacy option. Thanks again!

Can you try enabling "Legacy Compositing"? go to the Home Screen, click on the gear in the upper right. In the General panel, click on Advanced and enable Legacy Compositing.

FWIW, I was able to open the doc via Creative Cloud on my MacBook, make a change, and see that change reflected on the iPad (where, just for good measure, I first deleted and then reinstalled Photoshop for iPad). I was even able to interact with a layer briefly, then the doc reverted to showing nothing but gray.

This is a pretty severe bug! Like a crashing app, it makes the app unusable. #stillsad
