P: Crashes since Retina Update (Navigator Panel crash)

Random crashes since the Retina Update.

Wasn't doing anything special. The first crash I don't even think I had any documents open. The second one, I had three small documents open and wasn't performing any major actions. It managed to recover my documents, thankfully.

I have three extensions installed (Cut and Slice Me, GuideGuide, Bjango Tools), but had not used them or opened those panels in that session or in those files.

I submitted the crash logs, and have those available if needed.

You are right... I tried again, and it crashed when the navigator is opened.

We're investigating a fix for this issue. Hiding the Navigator panel should work as a workaround to avoid this issue in the near term.

The first log is a MacOS bug in system code (inside the PS application). No idea of the cause, and nothing we can do about it.

The second log is the same Navigator crash that Bo Fen posted above.

That's probably only temporary - the bug is in the navigator panel on retina displays. If the panel is hidden, the bug won't occur until you show it again.

I found the same reports in our crash database -- it's a problem with the navigator palette on retina displays. We're working on it now.

Asking an eng to take a look. Nothing obvious jumped out at me.

And the second crash log which happened with ~4 documents open: http://cl.ly/141c110N0k3a
