P: Crashes using Photomerge when 'geometric distortion correction' box is checked (MacOS 10.6 bug)

Photoshop CC completely crashes whenever I try to use photomerge with the 'geometric distortion correction' box checked. If I do not click that box, it completes the photomerge but the image is very distorted looking because there is no correction.

If i do the photomerge in CS5 with the box checked it works just fine. I would like to use just one version of photoshop to complete this project but as it stands I have to work on my images in CC and then open CS5 to do the photomerge.

Would you please email me your email address? ddobish at adobe dot com. I can then look up your crash.

This is a long shot but please try to reset your prefs.

Hi David, This happens with all images no matter how many images i am trying to merge. I am currently trying to merge 20 images. I have never had an issue merging this many images with previous versions of photoshop, it only started when I try to use Photoshop CC for this action

Chris, I just sent a crash report to Adobe with my email address, I am not sure how to post the report here in this forum.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Can you post one of your crash reports (preferably the Adobe version, so we can track it down in our database)?

Is this with all images or a specific set of images?

Have you updated Photoshop CC? You should be on version 14.1.2.

Also, what OS version are you using?
