P: CS6: "Copy Shape Attributes" doesn't get recorded when recording an Action

When recording an action, "Copy Shape Attributes" does not get recorded. Doesn't seem to work for Copy Fill from the gear menu in the shape tool color picker either.

Create a new action and start recording.
Right click on shape layer in layer palette and choose "Copy Layer Style". Note that it gets added to the action.
Right click on the same shape layer and choose "Copy Shape Attributes. Note that it does NOT get added to the action.

This is a great idea that's separate from the issue on this thread, so I created a new conversation to continue the discussion.

Please reference the new conversation here: Photoshop: Ability to assign keyboard shortcut for copy/paste Shape Attributes

This is fixed in Photoshop CS6 (13.0.1) or later.

I think it's just Stroke and Fill - the stuff you see in the options bar when, e.g., drawing rectangle shapes.

Thx Chris, though I have no idea what is a vector shape attri.

Layer Styles copies and pastes layer styles.
Shape attributes just copies and pastes the vector shape attributes.

They're copying and pasting 2 unrelated things -- so the difference is infinite.

What exactly is the diff between copy/paste layer style and copy/paste smart shape attributes?
