P: CS6 program error from vector tools, multiple text layer font size weirdness

The error log is in your preferences folder ( ~/Library/Preferences/Photoshop CS6 Settings/PSErrorLog.txt ). Note that on 10.7 your Library is a hidden folder and you'll have to make it visible to work with it at all.

I just got this error too. I couldn't find the where the error log was to be able to send it to you though.

I was working on a file I've worked on many times before. I went to select the line shape tool but PS 6 wouldn't allow me to select it and showed the error message "Could not complete your request because of a program error". I went to my web browser to research the problem, finding this forum post, and then returned to PS 6. I worked on another couple of layers in the same document before attempting to select the line tool again and it selected with no problems. I'm not sure what type of layer I had selected when I tried the line tool before.

I'm working on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4.

It sounds like you've done a transform on the layers, right? This sounds a little weird all the same. Could you send me the file so I can look at it? I'll follow up with an email.

Could you go to the Photoshop preferences folder, and get the PSErrorLog.txt file and post it here? That should give us some idea where the program errors are coming from.

Odd, I haven't seen that problem from other people.

You might want to reset your preferences and see if the problem goes away.

Text tool problems:

I have two text layers each with the font size of 26pt. When I select each layer individually the font size reads 26pt. When both layers are selected the font size is 13pt...

I randomly get an error when using the shortcut key (U) and or selecting the button for vector shapes

And what error displays when you select vector shapes?

I can only really speak to #2, although I tried both this morning and neither yield problems. What OS are you running? What sorts of errors are you getting?
