OSX Mojave german version

1. just create a new action and make a new adjustment layer.
2. Then change any value of it.
3. Stop recording and activate the "dialog" for editing values of the adjustment layer in the action panel.
4. If you now run the action or make a double click on that order in the action panel you get an program error

I have many actions with dialog's for adjustment layer and they are all obsolete now.

This issue should be fixed in the 21.0.2 update that was released yesterday.

Actions that add Adjustment layers may not playback the way they were recorded.  Adobe added the Adjustment panel in CS4 in its flyout menu there are two menu items the can make Photoshop operation inconsistent.  If you never change them from their Default Adobe installed setting Photoshop will operate correctly.

Also, you can do a select all before adding the adjustment layer in an action and use the add Add Adjustmen dialog and check clip to previous.   The Actions will always add the adjustment with a layer mask and the adjustment will be clipped.  It does not matter how the fly-out menu items are set.

Your best option is to not change the menu items settings.   Adjustment Panel layer should always be added with a layer mask and not be clipped by default.  Then actions that add adjustment layers will play the way they are recorded.

Thanks. I've asked engineering to look into this.

Yes you're right - the dialog causes error when it's on for adjustment layers, and on filters (where I use it most personally) the window is fine.

I have also a lot of those action, but only actions with adjusting adjustmentlayers and a dialog causes this error. I think it has to do with the new properties panel. If you have no dialog there is no error.

It seems to only happen in specific conditions (sometimes). I can't tell what are those conditions at the moment. Some of my actions with dialog windows work fine, I also have a lot of them.

I just tested it too and I have the same error.

I added dialog window to curves command in one of my actions and the error pops up.

So you're not the only one.

could someone test it - may I'm the only one with this problem?
