P: Edit Live shapes problems

If I have a rectangle Live Shape with round corners and use the direct selection tool to select the anchors point to one size only, when I move them using the shift key, the entire rectangle is moved, instead of only the side I had selected. Same issue, if I use the arrows keys on computer to fine-tune the positions of it. Tell me it’s a know issue and not as designed.

That’s why I asked if there is a way to turn off Live Shape.

Definitely not fixed, I'm on 25 and I'm still having this issue.

Hi @Palladium Media A02 , could we ask you start a new thread as this one is over 2 years old. We are happy to help but we don't want to confuse postings here with your issue.

Thank you,

Hi, I'm running 23.4.2 and still having this issue. Along with a host of other ones (selecting/unselecting issues, menus not docking, quick-keys not working, brush tool lagging). I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. What's the fix?

Hi, I am using photoshop v22.0.0, but I've had this problem for the past 2-3months. After creating a square shape in photoshop, when I want to adjust the width or height, I'd select two anchor points and when moving it, the whole entire shape moves. This doesn't happen with circular, triangle and organic shapes, only on square/rectangular shapes.

Please fix this bug, it is becoming very difficult to work with for someone who is pixel perfect. Thank you.

Same issue. It appears that when I draw a rectangle there are 2 anchor points at each 90 degree corner. I have to remove one of the 2 anchor points from each corner in order to move an individual corner without the others moving. This is so frustrating!

When I choose the direct selection tool (A) and choose the WHITE one, I should be able to click + drag select some anchor points in a shape and move them independently from the other non-selected anchor points. This doesn't work independently, all anchor points move together, as such I can't expand the side of a shape by dragging a point.

The way to get out of this glitch, is if I select ONE anchor point, move that single point, then I can move the points I want independently.

This isn't the easiest thing to describe.
