P: File Disappearing

I'm not sure if this is a common issue. I use Photoshop on my iPad. I have used it for over two years to do all of my design work and it usually doesn't have any issues. Here recently (Since the last update), I have noticed some files disappearing. When I exit the file that I have been editing a message pops up in the corner saying the "file has been promoted to a new document". And then it disappears and I'm not able to find it anywhere on Photoshop. It's also not on my Creative Cloud. 

Has anyone else experienced this and how can I fix this? It's annoying to work on a project and then exit the project only for it to disappear. 

Please help!
