P: Healing brush pixel artifacts

Just upgraded to PS 24.1.1 on an M1 Pro MacBook Pro and am seeing some pixel edge artifacts with the healing brush (see attached). Legacy brush doesn't seem to be affected and I'm not experiencing any problems with the clone stamp. Anyone have some ideas?

I am experiencing the same issue and tried all the suggestions, but nothing works. The artifacts only disappear when zoomed in to 33% and above.

Thank you for the file @shalanandpaul. The team was able to reproduce so they will begin to investigate this issue.

Thank you,

Not a problem @CShubert I appreciate the help. To answer your questions, yes it appears in exported files (see attached), and it occurs regardless of whether I use the healing brush on the pixel layer or on another layer with Sample set to Current & Below or All Layers.

Sorry for the confusion @shalanandpaul the team was wondering if these artifacts show up on a printed page or when eported? If so, that would rule out GPU etc as an problem.  Are you healing over existing pixels or on a new, empty layer (with sample all layers enabled)?

Would it be possible to share the .psd with the team?  Also, could you share the exact settings, ie sample and diffusion settings, of the healing brush?

Thank you,

Cory

@CShubert

Thanks for the link however, these instructions are intended for situations where their customer installed this plugin. This isn't a plug-in that I installed. It's location inside the app bundle suggests it ships as part of Photoshop.

@CShubert That plugin is located inside the Photoshop app bundle. How would you suggest disabling it?
