P: Helvetica Regular doesn't appear in text tool on macOS 10.15

I would suspect that the font is either missing or corrupt.  Helvetica isn't a font that Adobe supplies or messes with.  You can verify the integrity of your font cache following the steps here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-fonts-photoshop.html

I'm in acrobat DC whatever now in catalina 10.15.5 and I can tell you it still doesn't work. This is super crazy annoying.

I can confirm: version 21.1.1 fixes the problem!

This method works for me! You might need to create the folder if it isn't there.

  sudo mkdir /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Fonts

should do the trick.

I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.1, Photoshop is recent too. All updates installed. Problem still persists. I will try the method proposed by Silk-m.

macOS Catalina 10.15.1 + Photoshop 21.0.1, cannot fix the problem. I currently work around the following ways:

Updated to Photoshop 21.0.1, but the problem still remains. 😞
