P: I'd like to know how to disable the startup tutorial about generative ai

I'm also having this issue. Reinstalling PS with preferences reset did not fix it, and it begins every time I open the program. I'm keeping my computer permanently muted to deal with it at this point.

I am having the same exact problem. (I am a Windows user. I have tried going through the tutorial. I have looked at Preferences, but I do not see any option to get rid of this. 

I think we have established that this a bug, as it has only affected a very few people (there are 30 million Photoshop users in this world, and that's only the ones with Creative Cloud subscriptions).

no one here (even adobe employees) know why adobe makes the business/advertising etc descisions that it makes.  the most anyone here can do is help correct/circumvent problems you encounter.

the question here is not how to delete Photoshop or how to reset the preference, but why the tutorial is forced on the users, why isn't there a switch on it that disables starting the next tutorial? I have the same problem every times when I start Photoshop, and it is very disturbing when you have to work with the software and not interested in any tutorials. 

In addition, the user interface of the toolbar usually comes up incorrectly when the tutorial starts, as can be seen in the attached image.

I have the same annoying "tutorial" everytime, whane I start PS. 

Please help with this! I was in a Zoom meeting yesterday, and Anna McNaught started talking full volume in the background (nothing against Anna). I've closed the tutorial many times, went through the whole thing first, but it will create a new project at random times and then start playing the video! Other people at work are having the same issue. It's making me want to shut down Photoshop whenever I'm not using it.
