P: Leaving a filter should properly display any layers selected when you disabled the filter

After selecting a layer while filtering by name then disabling the filter, the selection isn't visible. The layer palette returns to the previous state instead of displaying the layer that I selected (and presumably found entirely by using the filtering) with its parents expanded
