P: Make the brush cursor easier to see (too thin, not enough contrast with some colors)

In last updates I'm having problem seeing brush (paint and healing) cursor when working with colors similar to cursor grey (grey or brown midtones for expamle).

Sometimes cursor changes to white, but for very short time and very randomly.

So it's really hard to see where I'm just gonna paint or heal. It is really annoying and tiring.

God only knows how many times I have talked with Adobe about this. Every
time I have to go through it from the start. The line of the tool ring
circle is to thin to see on high DF screens. It is set in plixcel and
because the df screen has very small pixcels it can not be seen esp against
certain colour backgrounds

After seeing sooooo many complaints and Adobe not doing anything about it, it's obvious we are just talking to a brick wall. How hard can it possibly be to give the user the choice of a thicker brush. It that's not possible, at least give us a choice of switching between a black or white cursor. Way to go Adobe, so much for listening to your users. Beginning to think I may switch over to Affinity,

If I have the brush tool selected and press the ctrl key on my windows computer, I get the moves tool, which is easier to see.

Chuck, to clarify: Pressing and holding the Command on the Mac will toggle to the Move tool — or to the Path Selection / Direct Selection tool when working with paths. The pulsating circle is Windows OS.

Yes, I am a Windows user. So that doesn't work on a Mac. I just assumed it would.

Trevor, the Mac trick is to shake the mouse pointer.

I was going to give your post a Like Chuck, but I see we now have to Upvote posts we like.

Are you a Windows user Chuck?  I have a feeling that you are.  I ask because I'm wondering if the same cursor finding tricks work on Mac systems.  I am constantly loosing my cursor.  I have a 32" main screen and a pair of 24" screens in portrait mode, one either side, and even using the Ctrl key trick I can find it hard to locate.

I press the ctrl/cmd key and that changes it to the move icon, so I can find it quickly.

I work mostly in BW photography of people. on an imac 5k display this is a nearly constant anoyance. I lose my cursor and find myself with eyestrain trying to track it. it would be great to have a user switchable option, make it neon green, red, black or white and/or just thicken the line. currently working with a 45px healing brush and CONSTANTLY lose the thing dramatically slowing down my work. This email is to Daniel - thanks for your response - I hope this is a high priority item as it's very, very difficult to do editing if you can't see where the tool is.....
