P: Make the brush cursor easier to see (too thin, not enough contrast with some colors)

In last updates I'm having problem seeing brush (paint and healing) cursor when working with colors similar to cursor grey (grey or brown midtones for expamle).

Sometimes cursor changes to white, but for very short time and very randomly.

So it's really hard to see where I'm just gonna paint or heal. It is really annoying and tiring.

It's been like this for quite a while, it's really bad.  I have to use command on mac all the time to find the cursor.

I've gone around with them on this for months.  They stopped responding to me.  I'm on a mac, I have to tap command to see where the cursor is, so yes it's maddeningly small increments I can do, preferring not to start over.

I certainly agree. I just needed a workaround for an image I was preparing for print.

Yes, but it doesn't really help when you are actively using in a precise way. It locates it so you can start over but you should be able to see it continually.

that's a good one. But still, they can fix the effing tool. They just don't care.

A workaround I use to find the brush cursor is to tap the space bar to display the scrolling hand: The cursor is at the hand.

Hey, Mr. Champion, can you push this along to someone in the company. As my video shows and the other video further down...this is a real issue. The brush DISAPPEARS when it is over certain tones! It can become a nightmare to use.

I've been asking and wanting this feature virtually since the beginning of Photoshop. And it is: When the cursor hovers over the image have it change its color to the opposite of what's hovering over, and also white to black and viceversa, so one can tell where the cursor is at all times. Sometimes it's very hard to find it and see where you are

Couple of things. First, how about a square cursor option? The round one is fine, but those corners are a little tough to get into with the paint brush. Second, how about allowing us to choose a color for the brush icons? Especially when working in B&W, the cursor tends to disappear in the grey areas. If I could change the color to, say, red, I could find it more easily.

I would like to see an option to change the color of the cursor. There are times when it 'disappears' into the background and I'm unable to find it. I am pleased that the new version has the option to change the pen line color. Definitely makes it easier to see. Why not do the same for the cursor?
