P: Make the brush cursor easier to see (too thin, not enough contrast with some colors)

In last updates I'm having problem seeing brush (paint and healing) cursor when working with colors similar to cursor grey (grey or brown midtones for expamle).

Sometimes cursor changes to white, but for very short time and very randomly.

So it's really hard to see where I'm just gonna paint or heal. It is really annoying and tiring.

YES!!! I am over 80 years old and create for companies world wide. I realize most
of Adobe’s staff is probably in their 20’s. Fix this.

ADOBE, any news on changing cursor options?  Aging eyes that still work on art have more trouble with contrast.  I need a BOLD cursor option, PLEASE?  How about an ability to choose how thick I want the cursor outline to be?  Or color change options?  Or as I have seen suggested have the cursor change color depending on what it is floating over?    Please?  I seriously have to float my cursor off the image and then slowly move it back tracking it the entire time.  Don't you have visually impaired options?  Accessibility options?  Please be aware that not everyone who creates art has high contrast cone functioning and 20/20 vision acuity.   People with far worse vision than me are creating art!  Accessibility please?

I've been a PS user for over 20 years and don't remember the cursor disappearing against busy grey backgrounds like it does now. Trying to use the regular brush for detail work on a layer mask with the density set to less then 100% so I can see through it a bit is nearly impossible. Big productivity killer. Any progress on this issue?

I fully agree. I have been using the program since the beginning and there is no response to this problem.

I've just posted a tweet to the world ... @adobe @11928347 ... referencing this thread. Perhaps if others do, too, Adobe will notice the level of concern.

Absolutely agree, I've been struggling and reporting this for years now.

I've been reporting on this bug for the last three or so years, with only one response from Adobe (Daniel Presedo's post, which is labeled as the 'correct answer'). Unfortunately, the problem is probably that Adobe has got their developers working 24/7 on *new features*, and they've completely forgotten about older bugs that affect the majority of their users. It's most problematic for those of us who have extremely high res monitors, as it's difficult to see the cursor even in very bright or very dark areas of an image. I don't know what else to do here - Adobe is entirely unresponsive, probably because they know so many of us are stuck in their ecosystem and have too much invested in PS to jump to another solution. I've used PS for about 30 years now, and it makes me incredibly sad (and furious) to see the lack of responsiveness to their user base.

Yes, I agree. The cursor is too faint (the lines are too thin or dim) to readily see. A fix would be greatly appreciated.

So it's been 19 months since acknowledging the difficulty in seeing the cursor — any chance of an update to actually fix this?
