Photoshop CC 2014, CC, and CS6 mouse click getting stuck bug in Lion, Mountain Lion, and Yosemite, but not in Mavericks. Here's a very annoying bug that has been popping up in various versions of Photoshop and OS X over the past years. I have used many tablets and computers during this time, various versions of Photoshop and OS X, yet this bug remains. The only time I never had the bug was when using Mavericks. The bug involves about every 10th click on the INTERFACE (NOT ON THE CANVAS) getting "stuck". This means that I can click on a slider, a curve point, or anything that's not on the canvas, and even after releasing the mouse/pen, the interface will think I am still clicking until I click again.Video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frZvR... may be an OS X bug since it does not happen in Mavericks but it does happen in Lion, Mountain Lion and Yosemite. However, it only ever happens in Photoshop, and never in any other app. Even in Photoshop, it only ever happens on the interface and not on the canvas. I do use my Wacom Intuos 5 outside of Photoshop so I would notice every 10th click getting stuck over many years of use.Even if it is an OS X bug, it would be great if Adobe could let Apple know since Apple probably will just say it's an Adobe bug, as usual, and it will never get sorted out.MacBook Pro 15 Retina Late 2013, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)Adobe Photoshop Version: 2014.2.1 20141014.r.257 2014/10/14:23:59:59 CL 987299 x64But the bug affects previous versions too, down to CS 6, but not CS 5 and before.

Are there any news? Because of this bug I'm still on Mac OS 10.9.5 with Photoshop CS6. But I can not wait much longer. Other applications force me to upgrade. Two times I made the upgrade (to 10.11 and 10.13). And went back to 10.9. because of this bug.

I used to have this problem, and it went away for a while, but is not back and happening all the time, even on the newest update

Thank you, I have been using it for many hours and the problem no longer occurred.

This issue should be fixed with the Photoshop CC 2018 (19.1.2) update which is now available.
Please install the update and let us know if you still see this issue.

To update, click Update next to Photoshop CC in the Creative Cloud desktop application.
If you don't see the update right away, click the 3 dots in the upper right and choose Check for App Updates.

Hi all.  There is a fix for "Stylus Stuck Down" that is included with 19.1.2 which I believe will be available later this week.

Please see the video attached. I’m painting with the brush. After doing an action on a palette (choose a layer, change brush, or move the color sliders like in this video) what I was moving becomes glued to the pointer. Clicking somewhere the brush returns to work normally but this is a very annoying problem.

This rarely happened until the CC2015 version, it worsened with CC2017 and with the current version CC2018 (19.1) it’s a disaster.

It happens both on Mac pro and on Macbook air with El capitan. I have tried all the Wacom drivers available but it does not seem to change anything, I'm on a Intuos Pro. Any suggestions? Thank you.

looks like this is fixed now, so let me know if you still see it in Ps CC 2018 or later

Can confirm this is a problem which has been ongoing for years. I can replicate this problem on multiple macs with multiple different wacom tablets. It's the single most frustrating thing about using a wacom in photoshop.

Here is a video of me reproducing the bug twice in two different ways. Whenever the slider is moving with the cursor nowhere near it I have released the 'click' and the slider is 'stuck' to the cursor.

IMO, either Adobe can't fix it, or are ignoring it, hoping we will go away. This has been ongoing for years now. Still no love. 😞
