P: New Document dialog issues

Not only that the new 2017 "New Document"-Dialog has a poor GUI-performance (Windowsx64, 64GB ram, gtx1060, ssd) because of all the unnecessaray cloud-stuff it really slow downs my workflow because of this:
It's not possible to confirm the dialog via "Enter". So STRG+N for a new document and then "Enter"-Key doesnt work any more.

Could you please fix that? I went back to the old dialog since it works there - also its super fast and slick.

I had to kill the updated "New Document" window as well.

Simply pressing Control+N would often do nothing, requiring multiple presses.
If it did work, it was taking 10 - 15 seconds for Control+N to bring the window up.
The UI was extremely slow and unresponsive.

At some point a person employed by Adobe with the power to say no took at look at this thing and said "This is an improvement and is ready to released"

Fortunately I found a way to revert to the "old" new document dialogue in the preferences. It's in the "General" tab called "Use Legacy New Document Interface". I hope that helps!

I used to be able to create a new document in a flash. Now it's an extremely slow process!

Same. It's totally awful. It would be better to offer the new 2017 'New Document' as an optional thing and keep the legacy version as the standard option. Something akin to Save vs Save As

I am experiencing the same issues on mac. I have to wait a second before I can create a new document while I wait for all the "extra features" to load.
