P: No red preview when changing brush size

I've just downloaded the new photoshop update (22.01) and I noticed there is no classic red area when you change Brush size and feathering (when using keyboard shortcut OPTION+CONTROL).

it is quite frustrating

@Paal Krokan-Mathisen I was on PS version 22.1 and have reverted back to version 21.2.4 and this brush hardness/softness display is working again.

If you read some of the earlier postings you'll see that this is a known problem that's been around since the last or so release of Ps. It's acknowledged by Adobe but there is no ETA for when it will be corrected.
