I've just downloaded the new photoshop update (22.01) and I noticed there is no classic red area when you change Brush size and feathering (when using keyboard shortcut OPTION+CONTROL).

it is quite frustrating

Same issue! Photoshop also is so slow

When I scale the brush with cmd + option + rightclick I had a red indicator of the brushsize and softness. This is gone now after the recent update.

How can I get this back? My settings are correct and I changed nothing manually in this direction.

No, but of course you can still change the size and the hardness of the brush. And if you use the bracket keys to change the size, then you can still see what you are doing, for example.

And there is no work around? Or something i can do to temporarily fix it?

This is a known bug. Adobe is working on a fix.

So two days ago I was busy using photoshop and nothing to my knowledge went wrong, closed the application off after I was done with any of my tasks only to find the next day when using the brush tool (I use this everyday) or any other brush that can be resized, that red circle that would indicate hardness or the size of the brush had disappeared, i've uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop and it still hasn't fixed it, i have all settings ticked in the performance tab for my graphics card except the 30 bit display. My graphics drivers had been updated to the latest version and there are no issues with it,  has anyone else perhaps had this problem and found a solution? I have the latest update of Photoshop CC (version 22.1).
