P: "Open Recent" list does not always show the most recent file

I might have a solution: it appears that clearing the recent list (File > Open Recent > Clear Recent File List) gets things working properly again.

David, i see a list of files opened prior to the update.

Same here. The list appears to have a static list of old recent files.

If you drop new files onto Photoshop, or choose File > Open to open a new file, they are not appended to the recent file list (File > Open Recent).

What are you seeing when you try to do a File > Open Recent?  Could you post a screenshot?
