P: Paste an image in animation Timeline

Hi!

I have been using Photoshop a lot to create animations recently and more than half of my time is used to manipulate the timeline instead of drawing...

Goal to acheive: I want to paste an image (a layer) to a specific position in the the timeline but it is impossible! Every time I copy and paste an image it goes back to the begeining of the animation. Than I have to move the image to the specific position manually... It takes a lot of time to do that.

It would make my workflow 100% faster if I could paste where I position the ready "head"
Please look at the attached video.

Can someone let me know if this is possible?

Thanks

Thanks so much for looking into it.
If this bug could be fixed it would save me so much time!!!

The options you're mentioning that are not buggy do not work for my
workflow...
I need the images to be on the same layers.

I need a succession of very short images (1-2 frame) to create a more
organic feel to my animations.

Last project took me a day to complete, that would have taken me 2 hours
without the bug...

I cross my fingers that a fix will come soon.

I've asked engineering to take a look. If I do select-all and copy (copies the pixels of the current layer), then paste works correctly. It creates a new layer and doesn't shift all the clips on the track. However, if I just select a layer in the Layers panel, copy, and paste, then the bug occurs. Drag-duplicating a layer also works.
