P: Photoshop 22.0: Where is Line Weight/Width and Pixels options?

Adobe broke the line shape tool when they removed line weight. The Line Shape tool can only create arrowhead Shape layers. You have to use the rectangle shape tool to create line weight shape layers. Use both tools and merge the two shape layers to create a shape layer with the arrowheads you want. For if you Stroke the Arrow Shape Layers the arrow line stroke will be a 0x wide stroke line,  or a 1x wide stroke line, or a 2x wide stroke line.  None of these will be the arrow shape layer you want. For only 0x, wide line arrow layer arrowheads point to the correct location you do not an arrow shaft you have been shafted. 

Needed only to draw a simple straight line on a photo. A simple task -now made complicated. The solution?  Use an earlier version of Photoshop. A step backwards. 

WHY???? Removing the pixel option is an aggravation, not an improvement. 

Give us a tool a line tool that is as useable as the old line tool.

There is also the Arrowhead positioning problem. If I set the stroke to be inside I'll get arrowheads where I clicked bute bit get the arrow lineshaft.

If I set the stroke to be along the Path I'll get the arrow lineshaft but the arrowheads will be beyond where I clicked.

If I set the stroke to be outside the line path I get a double-width arrow shaft and a larger arrowhead way past where I clicked.

Adobe needs to address the problem with their invalid stroke setting.  Line Paths are not closed path there is no Inside there is no outside there is just a mathematical line formula.

The thing is a zero weight line has no width so there is no inside or outside there is just a mathematical line formula. Even the Strok setting Icons are wrong. They depict a stroke inside a closed path, outside a closed path, and along a closed path.  A line path is not a closed path. Photoshop Installer migrated met current Stroke setting.  Photoshop should have generated an error message for the setting is invalid for a line path.

I draw a line with an arrow head, and no matter what I set the line is simply gone. I can stroke it anyway I like and - nothing.

What the hell are you people thinking??? Something that took zero time and thought now requires multiple steps. Just dumb as a post. You wanna add controls, fine, but keep the simplest methods intact. Jesus wept.
