P: Photoshop 23.1.0 keeps crashing when I use my Cintiq 22HDT's pen

Photoshop seems to work fine when I use my finger on the pen display, but when I touch the actual pen to the screen it immediately freezes and crashes a few minutes later.

I've tried restarting the pen display, the computer, photoshop, I tried changing scratch disks and back again, I've updated everything except my iOS, which I'm afraid to update until all those bugs are fixed.

@Jason23308858ioi1 Are you seeing freezing? Or crashing? Install 23.2.1 and let us know if you're still having trouble.

Mohit, have updated to 23.2 and still having this issue. I'm on an M1 macbook pro using the latest Wacom Driver 6.3.45-3. I've deleted adobe preferences, re-installed photoshop as well as the wacom drivers. No luck. Please advise.

Hi, have you tried to fully reinstall photoshop with this tool?

Do you see the Crash Reporter screen when it eventually crashes? I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system. If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash.

One of the best places to start is to make sure you're back to a known state:

If you restore your preferences using this manual method does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.
