P: Photoshop 27.10: "Edit in Photoshop" from Lightroom Classic & Lightroom Desktop does not load image

Another workaround (only for photos with Denoise applied) I’ve been using so I don’t have to rollback Ps or disable Denoise, is to use LrC’s export function to send the copy to Ps. On the Export dialog, configure the copy to be saved to the same folder as original, then check the boxes to add to catalog and add to stack. Use the same file naming convention as you use on External Editing preferences (such as -Edit), and configure the same file type, color space, and bit depth as External Editing preference in the File Settings panel. Include all metadata, no sharpening, don’t resize (but set PPI if you wish), and finally, choose to Open in Ps as the Post-Processing step. Save that as a preset for easy re-use (even from the File > Export with Preset menu to skip the dialog box). Something like this:

As long as that was the last export preformed, you can also use the shortcut for Export with Previous, which is (win) Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E / (mac) Command + Option + Shift + E 

This is extremely frustrating that they didn’t fix this problem

It’s a known issue.

I have the latest versions of LRC and Photoshop running on a Mac mini M4 pro, the latest update will not open an image in photoshop using the edit-in option, photoshop launches if not open or comes active if in background but then just stalls, I have un-installed both apps and re-installed also re-set all preference files in both apps.. this used to work before the latest update! 

I downgraded, to PS 27.9.1
And disabled Denoise, I just imported a raw NEF file, with no edits, presets,
But the problem still persists, it takes 2-4 minutes, then this error popup shows in LRC
And then eventually opens up in Adobe Photoshop. 
This can really disrupt a decent workflow that you already have.

Open As Layers in Photoshop fails if all the files have AI Denoise applied. (By failed, I mean Photoshop opens but the layers do not load).

Open As Layers in Photoshop causes Photoshop to crash if one of the files has AI Denoise applied but the others do not. (By crash, I mean Photoshop opens an error report log but Photoshop is then inactive and the error report cannot be sent. Force Quit is the only way out of Photoshop).
 

To recreate:

1. Highlight two or more .CR2 RAW files in Lightroom Classic which do not have AI denoise applied.
2. Open as Layers in Photoshop to confirm everything works as expected
3. Apply AI Denoise to one file and then synch the denoise with the other/s. 
4. Highlight all synched files and Open as Layers in Photoshop. Photoshop opens but Layers do not load.
5. Back in LrC, reverse the AI Denoise in the history state (all files) or just turn off Denoise for every file.
6. Highlight all files (which now have no Denoise), Open as Layers in Photoshop for the same images. Everything works as expected.
7. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to toggle the problem back on.

If only one file has Denoise and the others do not then Photoshop crashes as described above.

Cannot open multiple Lightroom 15.5.1 images in Photoshop 27.10 as layers.

PS hangs and you can only force quit PS

The problem does not occur in 27.9.1
