P: Photoshop crashes doing "Image Size" with GPU compositing enabled

This has been going on for a couple months now.  Ive even tried installing older versions of Photoshop and I get the same issue.  This also happens all the time.

When I go to Image Size and try to edit the size or resolution then click OK, everything freezes then I get the crash dialog box.  I now have to go to another computer wheneven I need to use that option.  I keep expecting for the updates to fix it but it hasnt happened yet.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Hi @Vico Drive ,

It's great to hear you found a workaround.  Can you also try re-enabling the GPU checkbox but disabling Preferences -> Performance -> Advanced Settings ... -> GPU Compositing.  GPU Compositing is a new feature my team and I released in Photoshop 23.3.0.

So I realized this is the same method.  I filled everything out and submitted with this email address.  I have also gone through the trouble shooting options that it shows after submitting the crash report.

What I did learn is that when I turn off the GPU from Preferences/Performance in Photoshop, everything works with no crashing.  I checked my GPU firmware which needed updating, which I then updated.  Turned the GPU preferences back on and its still crashing.  So for now it seems as long as I keep that option turned off, there is no crashing
