P: Photoshop Droplet doesn't work with macOS 13.0 Ventura

@geigreg you are correct -the steps I outlined are for M1 computers on Ventura specifically. You're the first case I've seen sharing from M1 down to an Intel Mac. Normally its the other way around, something created on the orignial system then upgraded and bricked. Going forward it may be easier to build droplets on the Intel then use the steps outlined below to allow M1 Ventura Security to run the droplet on the newer machine.

No, sorry, I said plugin but meant Droplet. No, the action is fairly simple and doesn't use any 3rd party plugins.

For now, I had my colleague recreate the Action on his computer and create the droplet. He's able to use it now but there still is an issue with sharing Droplets. I suspect it has something to do with M1 vs Intel OS.

Hi @geigreg so speific to the plugin error - does your droplet have a task tied to a plugin?

Do you both have the same plugin installed?

Thanks, Kevin. This isn't the issue. I've created a droplet and shared it with a colleague, and he gets the error. I am on M1 Ventura, and he is on Intel Ventura, but I shared the same droplet with another Intel user, and they had no issues.

Hi @geigreg check your plugins in Photoshop - if they are not M1 compatible, you may need to run Photoshop in Rosetta mode. If you aren't on an M1 and are still getting the plugin error - make sure they are updated and run properly in PS. You may need to update your action/droplet afterward.

What if the error is "The application (plugin name) can't be opened."

Mac Ventura latest version, Photoshop latest version.

Do you get a specific error?
