P: Photoshop error - GPU Crash opening files

Since this morning Photoshop refuses to open the files. New, old ... all files. Then he refuses to cut himself when we want to go out. "Unable to perform this operation" then appears.

Hi all,

We're happy to announce the release of Photoshop 22.5.1 which includes the fix for this issue. Check the list of other fixed issues here

To update Photoshop to 22.5.1, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Photoshop. More detailed instructions for updating

Please feel free to share your feedback with us. Thanks,

Mohit

@christophe Tardy If you disable "Use Graphics Processor" under Preferences > Performance... does it work without the error?

It's the same for me after an update photoshop crashes as soon as I open files and I'm also not able to create new files. In  the previous version the application crashed when I tried using the camera raw filter option.

@LYPHA I was able to find the crash you submitted. Engineering is working on a fix and will update this thread when its fixed. Best bet is to roll back to the prior update. Instructions: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html Disabling the GPU may also be an option.
