P: Plug-ins not found

Photoshop 2020 is not finding plugins. I have moved them to the new folder as I’ve always done, but this time neither Topaz or Nik is recognised. I’ve tried it on my other computer and it’s the same.

Mary, I just read this in another discussion. Can you check this to see if it helps you?

A while ago, Adobe had advertised that PS plugins should now be stored in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC and that future versions of PS might not support plugins stored in  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop xxxx\Plug-ins.

So, I moved everything to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC and everything is working fine and nothing has to be moved when a new version is installed.

No, I didn't unforunately. I don't seem to be able to get through to anyone that I'm not on a Mac or that I have tried all the previous solutions, this is a new issue.

Did you keep your previous version of Photoshop installed? I'm almost afraid to upgrade after reading all the problems with Bridge, ACR and PS.

I'm using current versions of Nik and Topaz. I've re-installed some of them and none are working.

Are they current versions of Nik and Topaz? Or are they the old Google Nik versions?

I’m afraid that doesn’t help, I’m on Windows 10, not Mac. I’ve re-installed some plugins direct from the manufacturer site and they’re still not working. I have the same issue on my other laptop. I’ve spoken to others tonight who have a similar problem with Nik and Topaz.
