It doesnt matter what I select, this menu keeps popping up. How do I get Adobe to quit spamming me with this?

It looks like after a few months Adobe finally decided to listen to it's paying customers! As of this morning I no longer am getting blasted with Adobe spam BS. No announcement. just as it started, it finished. without a word from adobe. It wasn't an issue or a bug as acknowledged by ADOBE staff on this board. Atleast it's finished for now. Let this be a lesson to us all. ADOBE called it a bug. It was in fact a marketing ploy. Well know by the staff here on this board yet they treat us like fools. Maybe they beleive anyone that would pay $$$ for subscrtiptions are in fact fools.

SHAME on you.

Came here looking for answers to the same issue- my pop up happens randomly, while I'm doing other things on my computer and not actively using Photoshop (but the app is open, no files open)- just intermittenly bouncing the icon on the icon bar to indicate an error/attention. When I go to the app to figure out why I'm getting a notification when no files are open, there it is- this infuriating popup. Thanks Adobe, I hate it.

IT's been over a month since first reported. Since that time many users have experienced the same issue. I have went so far as to perform a complete FRESH install of MacOs Sequia. This has nothing to do with setting, CC preferences. And everthing to do with ADOBE. I'm done drinking the Adobe Kool-aide. Get it together. It would be one thing to have the persistant pop-up if you were using a trial, but that's not the case. I opened a case and last week and am still waiting for a scheduled call back to resolve. As if that's not enough, Some ADOBE Empoyees have proudly proclaimed the issue was fixed. This is garbage Adobe. Oh and what great timing as you've announced a price increase! It sure would be nice if Adobe owned the problem. But most likely behind closed doors it's not a problem with ADOBE. just with the users that contribute to their paychecks.

Get it togher ...

it's not clear what departments communicate with each other. eg, i'm doubtful that forum messages work their way to the relevant departments in a timely fashion.

But it hasn't.

they care about their bottom line and offending users is not beneficial to that.

@kglad  I don't think Adobe actually cares whether they're offending customers or not, the days of large companies like Adobe caring about customers are long gone, you only have to see how much they charge for the full package to know they're in it for profit.

adobe's advertising department probably thinks this a great idea and had no inkling they're offending users.

Crazy how they add a new setting "Enable Focus Mode" that is literally made to turn off  "what's new welcome screens"

AND IT DOES NOT WORK!

Did not work! This is totally insane. Adobe is a joke.
